BIKER MEETS NATURE

People and nature always had a very strong connection. The connection was based on the appreciation and deeper understanding of what is truly important in life. The power of something so freeing and strong, its ever-changing beauty, and shelter to nurture both soul and the body. Nature oath to provide. On the other hand, this connection was also based on understanding that one can’t do without the other.

Backdropped by the endless fields and a beauty of wilderness, this time we invite you to discover a new jewellery collection titled MEDIEVAL, ethically produced by ZYDRUNE, and have a discussion of why we all should try to aim for more sustainable and ethical living practices.

In nature life seems fulfilled and so very simple. It is accepting and inclusive, and despite social status, race or different beliefs, it is equally fair and generous to everyone. And when the whole world is crazy about rushing, stressing and speeding everything up, nature is where you go to rewind and rediscover yourself.

It is true that with our ever-expanding needs and heavy consumerism, we are contributing towards an extinction of many beautiful places. Cities are expanding and overtaking, and higher and higher product quantities are consumed and produced. And really, each one of us just want to find their own place under the sun. However, real life is forcing for a change. The time has come to stand high and try to contribute towards the world that will be there for everyone to enjoy. ‘Biker meets nature’ introduces the idea of looking at a bigger picture and inspiring confidence to start making fierce choices. Ethical and sustainable practices initiate in supporting mighty ideas that will guarantee many more enjoyable moments for both, the environment and each one of us. It is an encouragement for all other designers, creators, businesses and other people to start taking a longer route. After all, by trying to recycle, repurpose and reuse old materials, use ethical resources, ethical supply chains, and provide a quality product that lasts without over producing, initially contributes to everyone’s better tomorrow. It makes sense that sustainable and ethical movements are attracting many advocates with people from all over the world taking leading actions. It is a collective effort after all, and every single little change matters.

Breathing fresh air, catching golden rays and enjoying light, breezy wind with an opportunity to actually feel, listen and enjoy the view of a breathtaking surroundings, is very important. On the other hand, this is our only home which should be cherished meaningfully. There is a very good Native American saying:

“We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors, we are borrowing it from our children.”

With that in mind, let’s not forget the world that we live in and the people around us, and those who will be there after us. The world is a beautiful place with so many extraordinary wonders, and it is our responsibility to make sure they are here to last.

MEDIEVAL collection was fully produced in London using only ethical making and ethically bound supplier chains. Each item being made to order contributes against overproduction and sustainable business practice, as no unnecessary resources are used.

Metal scraps, recycled through the jewellery making process, are repurposed back into jewellery. All precious metals used are Fairmined.
